Amlod AT-H

It is used to treat:

• High blood pressure
• Chest pain due to narrowing of the blood vessels of the heart muscle
• Uneven heart beats or heart attack

Common side effects:

• Headache, dizziness, sleepiness (especially at the beginning of treatment)
• Palpitations (awareness of your heart beat), flushing
• Abdominal pain, nausea
• Altered bowel habits, diarrhoea, constipation, indigestion,
• Tiredness, weakness
• Visual disturbances, double vision
• Muscle cramps

Always take AMLOD exactly as your doctor has told you.This medicine can be used before or after food. You should take this medicine at the same time each day with a drink of water
Do not take AMLOD with grapefruit juice.

It is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and atenolol which lower blood pressure effectively. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while atenolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
