The kidney function tests (KFT) help you to understand weather your kidneys are working efficiently,properly or not by examining how effectively your kidneys are removing wastes from your body. A 24-hour urine sample, a blood test, or both may be required for kidney function test are evaluation.

This test does not require any special preparation.fasting is not mediator for this test. You can have your coomon or regular food as required. However, special food and drinks are to be avoided and if your consultant prescribed any medicine you should not consume before providing ur blood sample.
